Loaves&Fish

Have you ever really considered what $10 can buy you? 1 meal at a fast food restaurant even cost more than $10 often! Many of us would barely even notice if $10 was missing or just gone! Today I want to challenge you....what if your $10 that disappeared was changing the life of someone else? What if you choose to intentionally pay it forward to a young man so that he could have electricity or water? This summer we are stiving to reach 100 New hearts that will make this choice. 100 New people/families that will help us meet a goal enabling us to grow and add at least 2 new students by the end of September.

I love the example of the young boy in the gospels that gives his small contribution of 5 loaves and 2 fish. We don't know the details of this young man's life, if he was wealthy or poor, if this was all he had for the month or just a basic lunch. What we do know is it was all he had in that moment and it wasn't much but he gave it trusting that God would multiply it and use it for His purposes. It seemed small and in the scoop of thousands of hungry people it was meager and insufficient... BUT GOD took it, used it, and feed the masses!

I know the temptation is to just assume others will do it or to think that it isn't that much so it doesn't really matter BUT it does!!! Every single $10 monthly donation lays the foundation for us to confidently grow. Every person that partners with us becomes a part of God's beautiful provision miracles. Every partner is that young man bringing what he has so Jesus can bless it and grow it.
