It's hard to believe we're already at the end of January; time seems to fly by faster every year. The new year for students at Etwene started with a bang—not the kind we hoped for, but a fumigation bomb! As the boys faced yet another battle with bed bugs, we brought in a technician to fumigate the entire house. This required them to evacuate for two days. Experiencing God's faithfulness is truly humbling! Relying completely on Him to inspire people to pray and give sacrificially for a cause they haven't witnessed or experienced firsthand is miraculous. Having students rely on that support and taking steps of faith to grow can sometimes be daunting, BUT GOD... He has always provided and given far more than we could have imagined! Recently, our boys have started attending weekly in-person Bible Studies every Saturday morning at the Etwene house. A mentor has been guiding discussions and activities to encourage the boys to reflect more deeply on their daily readings throughout the week. In the future, we plan to have the boys take on leadership roles, with our mentors available to support and guide them in preparing to lead. These Saturday morning discussions have already become a wonderful opportunity

BEACH DAY The constant sound of waves crashing on the shore always reminds me of the unwavering strength and power of our great God. On our last family fun day at the beach, the boys reveled in the beautiful weather, enjoying the water, horseback riding, and even an ATV ride. Playing football on the beach is a must, as are the leisurely walks where we discuss various topics! We savored delicious food, relaxed while listening to music, and observed the people around us.
